About María Jose

My name is María José, I am 25 years old and I am a social communicator with an emphasis on editorial management and advertising at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
I have always been interested in pedagogy and in being able to teach students of any age since throughout my life my ways of studying and concentrating never adapted to the academy (school) and that generated anxiety and stress in me.
I would like, through my methodology, to show that everyone learns in different and diverse ways, all valid.
I seek to show that learning is fun if it is done in the way that interests us and that there are millions of ways to assimilate information, education is always mobile and fun!
I respect and admire all ways of learning and I am open to horizontal learning, teaching and learning from students.

About the lesson

Since I was little I had constant extracurricular reinforcement because the school's way of teaching never understood my ways of understanding and studying, so I understood that to be able to study, you do not need a single method but that all people understand, learn and internalize the information, content and concepts differently. There are those who need complete silence to study and there are also those who can concentrate with music and noise around them, both methods are valid.
In my classes I make an initial evaluation about the type of ways of learning of each student, I take into account that there are those who understand through audiovisual material (videos), visual (books, images), practice (examples) etc. .. After identifying it, I structure a study plan that adapts to these interests and tastes supported with different materials.
It is also necessary to add that learning methods can change and that my classes are not fixed, the methodology can always change according to the need and desire of the student.
