About Stigue

I have 10 years experience performing in cruise ship orchestras playing broadway musicals, cabaret shows and accompanying pop artists from Las Vegas performing the greatest hits of all time.

I am an expert jazz and popular music professional with a strong classical background and I am dedicated to nurturing my students' abilities in trumpet playing, adapting my teaching to their individual goals and aspirations. My goal is to help students excel as lead trumpet players, improvisers, soloists, or ensemble members.

2018-2019: Royal Caribbean Group, Orchestra Musician (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
2017-2018: Carnival Cruise Line, Rock Band Trumpet (Miami, FL)

About the lesson

I teach students of all ages and have 20 years experience teaching at Primary Schools and High Schools. I am passionate about teaching and building a good rapport with my students. I hope any student who works with me will find my lessons inspiring, fun and effective! I am an empathetic person who really cares about each individual I work with.

Perfect! I've been taking flugelhorn lessons with Stigue for the past two months as a returning player, and it's been a very helpful experience. I'm currently exploring some changes to my embouchure, and he's been supportive and knowledgeable, offering tailored advice and suitable exercises to guide the process. I've been applying his suggestions to my daily practice and have started noticing real progress. His experience and calm, encouraging approach are helping me build confidence and consistency again on the instrument. I'm looking forward to seeing how things continue to develop in the coming months.
