While teaching, I like to have conversations with the students regarding the lesson. This allows me to help them learn the material, without giving them the answers, as well as setting the pace for the lesson. I like to keep my lessons flexible rather than on a schedule to make it easier to accommodate how quickly people learn.
My teaching methods are pretty simple and how I was taught how to play quickly. As a beginner it is better to write most things down.
My teaching approach always considers the specific needs and experience of the student. From the basics in music theory and composition to more advanced subjects, I'll always make sure learning is structured and paced appropriately. You'll learn many of the theoretical aspects of theory/composition as well as growing your own unique approach to learning about and writing music.
Identifying the needs of the student through assessment then finding the best approach for the individual. A personalised and friendly approach at all times putting the learning style of the student first enabling them to feel at ease and make progress.
I can teach up to University, diploma level on the French horn. Everything else (trumpet, trombone, recorder, piano, music theory) up to an intermediate level. I tend to have a variety in each lesson, allowing the pupil to have an active say in what they learn. I like to incorporate simultaneous learning as we progress through different stages.

My teaching method is to take each student uniquely, gauging how much experience (if any) they have and their eagerness to learn a particular style of playing. With music, there is no real rush to learn, although many pick up the ability quickly. Pace is taken at that of the student.

The courses I offer are aimed at all levels. In my opinion, the interest of making music is to enjoy it and to play with others. Obviously, the passage through a technical work is essential, but to make it more interesting by pieces in duets or by recordings is for me, a way to progress interesting.
I teach each student differently. At first, I need to get to know the student in order to find out how to teach them. I would never teach 2 students the same way, as they're different and need to learn differently.
