I believe in a systematic approach to the horn. One that is comprehensive in regards to the instrument itself and to a greater understanding of music as a whole. The aim of my instruction is to create replicatable moments on the instrument and inspire curiosity and discovery in the student.
I can teach up to University, diploma level on the French horn. Everything else (trumpet, trombone, recorder, piano, music theory) up to an intermediate level. I tend to have a variety in each lesson, allowing the pupil to have an active say in what they learn. I like to incorporate simultaneous learning as we progress through different stages.
