About Mollie
This year I have graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Music Education from York University, in which I will then continue my studies for two years to achieve a Masters degree in Music.
I have lots of experience playing piano, singing, teaching and performing. I have worked with children for over 6 years and worked in professional settings such as in multiple primary schools and weekly at a children's musical theatre company.
I started learning piano at 12 years old and have been a singer for as long as I can remember...

My teaching method is all about call and response. I wouldn’t expect my students to understand my teaching without demonstrating examples first. A major part of my lessons is that ALL lessons I like to bring the FUN factor to.
Relating back to my childhood of music theory, piano and vocal lessons, I know how difficult it can be to concentrate as sometimes it would be boring! I’m all about making the lessons FUN but also KNOWLEDGEABLE. My lessons are personalised to the individual - none of my students lessons are ever the same. Furthermore, I like to take song ideas from my students of songs they WANT to learn, as I 100% believe that if an individual learns a song of interest to them, they are more likely to enjoy the session and work harder...

Perfect! Mollie is a great piano and singing teacher who prepares her lessons well suited for my child’s age. She is patient and communicated well with my child.
- Brendan did a wonderful job in his piano and vocal lesson. He is very talented at playing the piano for a 7 year old. He also did fantastically well understanding the tasks, as I know English is his second language. It would be great if I could of offered him physical lessons however due to distance this was impossible.See the response Mollie :
