About Grace
Although I am in the middle of my degree program, I have a deep passion for how instruments are taught, and have spent many credit hours working towards learning all that I can about all of the instruments. I love learning about how people learn, and applying it to my teaching, for myself and for others.

I am very familiar with Essential Elements for band. A typical lesson with me will look like; reviewing what you worked on last, either with another teacher or myself, talking rhythm and notation understandings, early aural skills work if applicable, and moving forward in the book being used or on current repertoire. I am looking to teach 4-8th grade, so beginning to low intermediate musicians. As far as other tutors that are available, I am younger and able to connect with students easier than most.
