About Julia

Hi!

I'm a passionate music educator and singer/songwriter/ producer originally from Sweden but now living in London. I have a rich background in both music and performance. From the age of 6, I’ve been involved in music, starting with choir, piano, and flute, and later dancing ballet and acting in theater. These early experiences have shaped my deep love for creative expression, particularly through singing.

I initially pursued an academic career, but ultimately made a life-changing decision to follow my true passion—music. Singing and artistic expression have always been at the core of who I am, and over the years, I’ve developed a strong connection with the transformative power of music.

Although I’ve spent many years honing my craft, I’ve also struggled with perfectionism and self-doubt, even after professional training. This journey has taught me a lot about mindset, resilience, and overcoming obstacles, and I now apply those lessons in my teaching approach. I believe that self-expression through music should be liberating, not limiting.

Today, I run my own artist project where I write, perform, and co-produce my own music. I’ve studied at prestigious institutions such as BIMM London and Berklee Online, gaining a broad range of skills in both performance and production. My goal is to share my knowledge and experiences with students, offering lessons in Swedish, singing, and music production that are flexible, tailored, and built on a foundation of understanding, encouragement, and passion.

I’m here to help you discover your voice, overcome any creative blocks, and reach your musical and linguistic goals—whether you’re looking to improve your Swedish, develop your vocal technique, or dive into the world of music production!

About the lesson

What I Offer:

Swedish Lessons: Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I’ll guide you through the language in a way that’s practical and fun, adapted to your needs and learning style. As a native Swedish speaker I look forward to help you on your learning journey.

Singing Lessons: From breathing techniques to vocal performance, mindset training and body awareness, I'll help you unlock your voice’s potential in a supportive and encouraging environment. As a professionally trained singer with a bachelor's degree in vocal performance, experience in CVT and holistic singing practices I'm here to guide you regardless if you are an experienced singer or are just starting out.

Basic Mixing & Mastering: Learn the fundamentals of mixing and mastering music. This is suitable for beginners and aspiring producers. With a bachelor's in music production I look forward to guide you in this fun field!

Practical information:

All lessons are held online and are usually 30-45 minutes (however this can be discussed and tailored to your goals).

I teach adults from 18+ year old from beginners to professionals.
