About Lucy
I am a music student currently working towards my LCM Piano, Flute and Teaching Diplomas. I have been playing the flute since i was 8 and piano since I was 9. I have GCSE and A-level Music, as well as Grade 8 Piano and Flute, Grade 5 Music Theory, Grade 3 Clarinet and have recently started playing the saxophone. I love learning new instruments and skills and want to pass on what I know onto any aspiring musicians.

Each student learns differently, therefore each student will have an individualised plan to help with their progression.
If you are a complete beginner to any instrument, I will teach you from scratch, which will include learning how to read music and learning the position of the notes in relation to that instrument.
If you have played before, I would first like to hear you play so I can assess what level you are at, as well as hearing a little bit about your previous playing experience. I will also ask about what you would like to improve in your playing, and whether you would like to do graded exams or just play for fun.

If you would like a flute lesson, you will need to bring your own flute.
