About Devin

I've been playing guitar for 13 years and I recently graduated from Musicians Institute with my AA in music performance. I love progressive music from artists Animals As Leaders, Plini, Portraits, & Intervals. I would love to help you get started on the next step of your journey whether that's your first few chords or your fifth Yngwie Malmsteen song.

About the lesson

I am very comfortable teaching and playing on 6, 7, and 8 string guitars and can teach you progressive styles/techniques such as thumping, selective picking, sweeping, and economy picking.

We can work together to create a roadmap of goals you want to achieve so you get where you want to be and have a checklist of progress you can look back on

I can teach you music theory and ear training

Perfect! He taught me what I wanted to learn very quickly and was extremely patient when I had difficulties. He could clearly communicate the fretting and gave me numerous tips on how to improve my technique while playing to be most efficient. I greatly enjoyed the lesson too it was very fun.
