About Hala

Bonjour! My name is Afnane, and French has been a part of my life since childhood. I was raised and educated in a French academic system, which gave me a strong foundation in grammar, literature, and authentic spoken French. After moving to the United States, I discovered how much I enjoy teaching — and helping people fall in love with this beautiful language. I have now been teaching French for several years, working with students of all ages and backgrounds. What I enjoy most is seeing my students gain confidence, pronounce words correctly, and finally understand the expressions that make French so charming. My approach is friendly, patient, and encouraging; I believe that learning a language should feel inspiring, not stressful. As a native speaker, I bring not only fluency but also cultural knowledge, correct accents, and everyday vocabulary you won’t always find in textbooks. Whether you want to strengthen your academic skills, prepare for travel, or simply enjoy learning a new language, I am here to guide you with enthusiasm and support.

I decided to move to France, Lyon 2 years ago! The language barrier was my biggest fear, but I founded Hala’s contact on facebook and she helped me a lot ! She knew how to make me speak with almost no accent and I learned how to speak English with her through my journey!
