About PATRI

I am currently working as a Spanish teacher at a secondary school in Ireland, where I support students in Transition Year and help them prepare for their Leaving Certificate Spanish exams.

I hold a double degree in Primary and Early Childhood Education, as well as a Master’s degree specialising in Spanish as a Foreign Language. My educational background has given me a strong understanding of different learning needs and teaching methodologies.

As a teacher, I believe that learning a language should be an enjoyable, practical, and engaging experience. I tailor my lessons to each student's level, interests, and personal goals, helping them build confidence and improve their communication skills. My classes combine practical activities, grammar, vocabulary, interactive games, and conversation practice, depending on each student's needs.

I aim to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and developing their language skills at their own pace. I also provide detailed, personalised feedback to help students recognise their progress and continue improving.

About the lesson

Lessons are personalised according to each student’s interests, goals, and level. Classes can focus on the main skills the student wants or needs to improve.
Lessons can be practical, combining some theory with interactive activities and games. They can also focus on oral communication, encouraging fluent and natural conversations. Detailed feedback is always provided to help students identify their strengths and areas for improvement
