About Sofia

I’m 21 and originally from Italy. When I was 20, I decided to leave Italy and move to Australia on my own, ready to experience a completely different lifestyle, meet new people and challenge myself. It has been one of the biggest and most exciting experiences of my life, and it has taught me to be independent, open-minded and adaptable.

About the lesson

I’m young, friendly and easygoing, which I think makes it easier for me to connect with students and understand their way of learning. I want my lessons to feel relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable rather than like a traditional classroom. I’m patient, approachable and happy to adapt each lesson to the student’s personality, interests and goals. I believe that feeling comfortable with your teacher is really important when learning a new language, especially when it comes to speaking and making mistakes. My goal is to make students feel confident, have fun and actually look forward to learning Italian!
