About Calvin
I'm a recent graduate of Nanotechnology Engineering from University of Waterloo, and my specialization was Microfluidics and Nanomedicine. I excelled particularly in Calculus and Chemistry courses (I also did well in other courses such as Biology and Physics), and am self-taught in Java and Python programming.
I've worked in several labs doing research, even helped publish a few papers. I have also worked in the industry, both with software development and designing and prototyping mechanical machines.

I am personally a very visual learner, preferring diagrams to show and explain almost anything; however, I have also successfully tutored a high school student who was very hands-on about their approach. I like to tailor my approach specifically to the individual (so I haven't tried my hand at group tutoring sessions yet).
I intend to identify points of interest/improvement and help you develop a thorough understanding of the topic. I am not here to give you the answers; instead, I hope to guide you in such a way that you can successfully navigate it in a way that makes sense to you.
Depending on your goals/objectives, I can either plan to walk through a course (or course section) in a manner that mirrors a course you are currently attending, or I can simply structure sessions around a specific topic you would like me to cover.
I am able to up to College/University (undergraduate) level courses in Chemistry (Biochemistry, Electrochemistry, Polymers, etc.) and Mathematics (Calculus, Linear Algebra, ODEs/PDEs). I can also teach High School (and some College) level Physics and Biology.
