About Clarisse

Hi! I'm Clarisse, a native Brazilian Portuguese teacher with a genuine passion for teaching and connecting with people from different cultures.

What I love most about teaching is seeing my students progress, from struggling to form their first sentences to becoming confident enough to have real conversations in Portuguese. Every student learns differently, and I truly enjoy discovering what works best for each person and being part of their journey.

As a Brazilian who has lived abroad for many years, I understand the challenges of communicating in another language and adapting to a different culture. This experience has made me a more patient, understanding, and flexible teacher.

I also love sharing Brazilian culture, everyday expressions, and the way Portuguese is actually spoken in Brazil. For me, teaching Portuguese is more than teaching a language. It is about helping people connect with Brazil, its culture, and the people who are important to them.

About the lesson

My lessons are fully personalized to your goals, level, and learning style. Whether you want to travel to Brazil, communicate with Brazilian friends and family, use Portuguese at work, or simply feel more confident in everyday conversations, we will create a learning plan that works for you.

I create my own teaching materials and adapt them to each student, so your lessons are not based on a one-size-fits-all program. The topics, activities, vocabulary, and materials are selected according to your needs, interests, and progress.

My lessons combine real-life conversation, practical vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and Brazilian culture. My goal is to help you not only understand Portuguese, but actually use it naturally and confidently in real situations.
