About the lesson
If the student knows nothing about Chinese, I will teach them the pinyin, the pronunciation system of current Mandarin Chinese. Once the student is familiar with the pronunciation, it will much easier to learn Chinese because a lot Chinese characters share the same pronunciation. All I have to do then is to teach them different Chinese characters. If the student knows something about Chinese, I will see how much that student has mastered and decide the further actions.
