About Mia

With over 20 years of experience teaching Chinese to international students, I have helped learners from more than 20 countries achieve their language goals—whether for study, work, exams, or daily life. I hold a Higher Education Teaching License issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education and an IPA International Chinese Teaching Certificate, ensuring my teaching methods meet both national and international standards. My classes are structured, engaging, and adapted to each student’s level and learning style. I’m patient, professional, and dedicated to helping every student build confidence in speaking, understanding, and using Chinese naturally. I take pride in creating a supportive and motivating learning environment where students can see real progress and enjoy the process of learning Mandarin. About the lesson

As a native Chinese teacher with over 20 years of experience, my teaching method focuses on clarity, interaction, and cultural connection. I believe learning a language should be enjoyable and practical. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals—whether for HSK exams, travel, business, or daily communication.

A typical lesson begins with a short review, followed by new vocabulary and grammar through conversation practice, listening exercises, and role-play activities. I also integrate Chinese culture to make lessons more engaging and memorable.

What sets me apart is my deep experience teaching international students and my certified qualifications from both the Chinese Ministry of Education and the IPA. I understand the common challenges learners face and provide effective techniques to help them overcome pronunciation and tone difficulties.

My lessons are suitable for students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners preparing for HSK 1–6 or professional communication in Chinese.
