About Javier

My name is Javier, I am a 16-year-old second-level student and I'm a native Spanish speaker. Living half of my life in Asturias, Spain I learned to master the language and today I live in Ireland alongside my Spanish family. I have an incredible passion for education in general, often debating in national competitions on teaching and education. I have a history of teaching, with my latest being a piano teacher for two years and now taking an academical punch and decided to teach my mother tongue to people who are struggling to learn this beautiful language.

About the lesson

Learning a new language can be difficult, Spanish and French are by far some of the most challenging since they have layers on layers of difficulty. Luckily, nowadays tutors are easily facilitated with resources and aid to help you in your journey.

I am a native Spanish speaker and I have been living in Ireland for the past 8 years with constant English development. At the moment, I am fully bilingual in both English and European Spanish. Even though I speak Spanish on a daily basis with my family and peers, I still attend Spanish classes to perfect grammar and to sharpen my personal teaching style.

I will be providing students with notes, exercises, written and aural exercises and theoretical notes. The facilitation of these resources is what sets apart my toutoring style than any school making you buy books. On top of that, if a student is looking for help on a problem involving homework or exams I'd be there to help aswell.

On a normal class I would be.
- Testing material from previous classes
- Looking at exercises from books
- Oral conversation
- Aural practice tests.

The practice of these exercises with increasing difficulty per class would easily facilitate the domination of the language. Ofcourse being able to write Spanish is great but a student who is able to have a perfect conversation with a native Spanish person is the person who deserves incredible admiration.

These classes are mainly focused for people who need help on schoolwork weather they are second or third level education. People who are looking to get into the language/doing it as a hobby are also welcome do join in as well.
