About Hanalei

Hello friends :)

I’m Hanalei, I come from a small French island.
I’m studying music at Macquarie university.
I’m tutoring on my free time because I‘m fond of teaching and I love teaching my native language to people. Not just the language but also some of its history. I see tutoring as a part of sharing my culture !

About the lesson

I have no particular style of teaching. I prefer to focus on each student's goal. I try to plan activities and lessons that are fun and useful for student ! Sometimes I will focus on grammar and vocabulary but I prefer practice speaking and pronunciation.

Perfect! Hanalei is giving weekly French lessons to my 6yo and 8yo, who have no prior French experience. She engages the kids really well, and adapts to their individual needs dynamically. Highly recommended!
