About Myriam

My name is Myriam. I was born in England but moved to France as a baby, where I completed all of my education from primary school through to lycée. This means French is truly my native language, both academically and in everyday life.
I then went on to study abroad, completing a French-speaking undergraduate and master's degree. During my studies, all of my coursework, including essay writing, was completed in French at university level.
Alongside my studies, I worked as a French tutor both privately and with a company called Belingual, where I taught one-to-one and group lessons to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels. This gave me valuable experience in adapting lessons to different needs and helping students gain confidence in the language.
I am currently training towards a PGCE, which is helping me develop a strong understanding of different teaching methods and how to tailor my approach to suit each student’s learning style.

About the lesson

My teaching style is flexible and adapted to each student. I am currently training towards a PGCE, which is helping me develop effective teaching methods and better understand how to support students depending on their needs and learning style. I aim to make lessons clear, engaging and suited to your personal goals.

Lessons usually last one hour and include a mix of speaking, writing, pronunciation and grammar, depending on what you want to focus on.

I am a native French speaker and studied entirely in French from primary school through to university, so I have a strong and natural grasp of the language. I have also taught French in a school before, working with students from beginner to advanced level, both in groups and one-to-one.

My lessons are for all ages and levels, from complete beginners to more advanced learners. I can help with exam preparation, improve your pronunciation and writing, or simply build your confidence in speaking and understanding French.
