About Romy

Bonjour ! Comment allez-vous ?

I’m Romy, a native French speaker from Switzerland and bilingual in English. My international journey has taken me to Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and England, where I’ve had the opportunity to experience different cultures, languages, and ways of communicating.

Having learned a foreign language myself, I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging or intimidating. This experience has shaped the way I teach: I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and expressing themselves from the very beginning.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and teaching people from many different backgrounds and cultures. I love discovering what motivates each learner and helping them turn French from something they study into something they can actually use and enjoy.

My approach is friendly, supportive, and encouraging. Whether you’re learning French for travel, work, studies, or simply for yourself, I’ll be there to guide and motivate you throughout your journey.

About the lesson

I offer personalised French lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, with a strong focus on practical communication and real-life French.

I am a native French speaker with international teaching experience and have completed specialised training in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) at the University of Geneva.

Lessons can cover grammar, conversation, culture, pronunciation, writing, comprehension, and fluency, depending on your goals.

I work with learners of all ages, including children, adults, professionals, retirees, and students preparing for exams. Each lesson is adapted to your level, needs, and learning pace.

I create my own personalised lesson materials and exercises for each student, based on their progress and areas for improvement, so you can continue practising between lessons.

For students looking for a more structured learning path, I also offer my Premium French Programmes, featuring two e-books of 200+ pages each, with structured lessons, exercises, worksheets, quizzes, tests, audio and video resources, French idioms, everyday expressions, and additional practice.

My goal is to help you make real progress, communicate naturally, and feel confident using French in everyday life.

I got to train with her and she made a personalized plan that actually works, losing weight while keeping my muscle. I’m loving it so far and can already see results from her mix of workouts and nutrition tips. Can’t wait to keep going!
Thanks so much!

I cannot recommend Romy highly enough for anyone looking to take their fitness to the next level. Having worked closely with her, I’ve seen firsthand her incredible ability to tailor sessions to individual needs while maintaining an inspiring, high-energy environment.
Romy is the kind of trainer who is as invested in your progress as you are. She brings a deep technical knowledge of movement and nutrition, but what sets her apart is her dedication to building confidence in her students. Whether you are a beginner or looking for advanced coaching, her sessions are challenging, professional, and genuinely rewarding. If you want a trainer who is supportive, knowledgeable, and gets results, Romy is the best in the business!
