About Debora

I'm a language student currently studying Spanish and Chinese. Back home in Italy, I attended a linguistic high school, where I studied Italian, Spanish, English and French grammar and literature. This helped me in deeply understanding languages, encouraging me to learn more about different cultures and traditions, for this reason, my challenge now is to learn Chinese!
I've been now tutoring and teaching Italian grammar and culture for a 1 year and a half.

About the lesson

My lessons are based mostly on basic grammar components, obviously depending on the student level. I believe it's fundamental to focus on the basics so to continue to build up and succeed in a language.
The grammar explanations are followed by exercises aimed to understand and consolidate the theory. Moreover, the lessons will be focussed on learning about the beautiful Italian culture, from food to wine, art, and literature, and for whos traveling to Italy*, I will give some travel tips too.

*For who has the main objective to learn the language to travel, the teaching methodology changes. In this case the amount of grammar will be pretty much the same, however, I will be focussing more on conversation and audio activities. Moreover, I'll provide as much information I can obtain on cities sightseeing, tours, museum and art galleries, exciting experiences and main attractions, nightlife, wineries, and restaurants. (Consider this methodology as "Second Approach")

Details

Travel cost applies if the student is located more than 7 km away from Maroubra. (+$5)

For groups, the cost will be $35 per student.

For who is willing to take Italian classes because is traveling to Italy and decides to go for the second teaching approach, the cost will be of $65 per student for 2 hours a week. Groups are welcomed, costs for groups would be $50 per student for 2 hours.
