About Marco

I used to be an accountant. I graduated in banking, finance and insurance in the University of Ancona..I moved to New Jersey for a few months and then I came back to Italy. My real passion is learning languages and teaching Italian. I have been teaching Italian grammar informally and for business for almost two years in different platforms and in a no-profit organization. I like American and Hispanic people, for that reason I’d love to teach them. I can speak English, Portuguese, Spanish and a bit of French. Currently I’m studying to get CEDILS certification to teach Italian as a foreign language. I like reading popular and fantasy novels from my country and I'd like to talk about them. I provide the students with exercise books, business and cultural articles, multimedia files and images from Italy landscape. I prepared a lot of students to go to Italy for traveling or working. I m currently living in Pescara (Abruzzo) and I'm studying Portuguese and Spanish and trying to improving my English watching movies and television

About the lesson

ATTENZIONE! Tutto il materiale sarà in Italiano. Per adesso potrò dare solo lezioni via Skype o via Zoom perché sono in Italia, ma presto potrei trasferirmi nuovamente in New Jersey. Sorry but for now I can give lessons only by webcam (Skype or Zoom) because I'm in Italy, but in the future I don't know, I'm thinking to coming back to New Jersey and maybe I will be available for lessons face to face. I'm available during my night (your evening or afternoon) and during my afternoon (your morning). Let me know!

My lesson consist of the following:

- Vocabulary and alphabet, presentation of yourself, basic grammar (articles, prepositions,adjective,)

- General grammar with books and exercises

- Cultural discussion about videos, music, articles, imagines

-Conversation about everything you want.

- Preparation for job interview and discussion about general business with books and articles. you will learn how to answer a phone call or how to write an email for a business company.

In general I hope to give 30 minutes of grammar and 30 minutes of talking. It depends on the students. I adapt myself to the students needs. I usually share my screen to make the class as interactive as possible.

Marco is the best Italian Instructor we have had at Kasa De Franko. I met Marco through mutual friends. He first started as my personal tutor. He is very talented! That's why we decided to hire him for Kasa de Franko.

He has been doing great and usually gets compliments from all his students. We are good friends with him and he still helps me with my Italian on a weekly basis. We do highly recommend him if youare serious about learning Italian.
He is very flexible and adjusts himself to his students' styles. I know teaching another teacher is not an easy task because most teachers would want another teacher to use the teaching method they use because they think it is the best. So I know it is not easy for my teacher to teach me as he has to be even more flexible with me than with other students. He is not only flexible, but also good, and very knowledgable.
I have seen Marco going from teaching 5 years old to adults. Marco has the talent to make his lessons conversational but also focusing on correcting your proper use of Italian grammar and pronunciation.
I have only been learning with him for very few months but I can definitely see the difference. I am really happy with all the progress I have made in less than six months.
