About Susanna

Hello, my name is Susanna and I am a native Italian speaker based in Edinburgh, UK.

After receiving many requests by friends and collegues who want to learn Italian and enjoying teaching it, I've decided to bring my activity to the next level by activating custom lessons for anyone who is interested in learning this beautifully elegant language.

Whether you are starting from the very basis or you already know a little grammar and want to enhance your pronunciation and conversation skills, I will be able to create the right lesson for you.

About the lesson

For each level I offer:

- 30 min FREE, to verify your level and understand your needs
- face-to-face online lessons (including grammar, speaking exercises, listening exercises* + conversation for higher level).
- printable slides/notes for each topic
- quizzes at the end of each topic (including vocabulary, grammar & reading) exercises
* all listening exercises will be in standard accent (the one of voice actors), except for LEVEL 4 where I will introduce differet accents from all the regions of Italy.

The lessons will be customized according to your own level:

- LEVEL 1: you have never studied Italian before and you need to start from the very basis, or you studied Italian a long time ago and you remember a few things, but you need to restart from scratch. I will provide you basic grammar lessons, basic conversation models and exercises.

- LEVEL 2: you started studying Italian not so long ago and you need help with grammar, speaking and listening. I will provide you medium level grammar lessons, more articulate conversations than in level 1 and exercises. I will skip the lessons based on knowledge you already have, however I can provide you quick revisions if required.

- LEVEL 3/ INFORMAL: You know Italian grammar quite well and you just want to improve your informal conversation skills. I will choose informal everyday-life situations to talk about and I will correct your grammar and pronunciation when needed. I will teach you how to write informal letters, if required.

- LEVEL 4/ FORMAL: You already speak and write Italian very well but you want to improve your pronunciation, conversation and writing skills (maybe for work reasons). Both formal and informal conversation and writing exercises will be provided. I will adjust the lessons to meet your specific needs.

FIRST 30min FREE:
- I will understand your level and your needs, which is essential to create your further custom lessons.
- I will suggest you any books that can support your studies, if needed.
- We will start a basic grammar revision (Levels 1-2), or a conversation exercise (Levels 3-4)

Cancellation policy:
- 75% of your money will be returned if you cancel at least 5 days in advance
