About Frida

Ciao! I’m Frida, a native Italian speaker with a passion for languages and teaching. I am bilingual English/Italian, and speak fairly good French. I offer engaging, personalised lessons for kids and beginner adults, online or in person. I focus on building confidence through games, conversation, and fun, age-appropriate activities. I'm enthusiastic, patient, and love helping students enjoy learning.

About the lesson

Ciao! I'm Frida, a native Italian speaker with several years of experience teaching Italian to both children and beginner adult learners. I've worked for three consecutive summers in a language summer camp, helping children learn Italian through fun, interactive activities. I've also volunteered alongside experienced teachers, gaining valuable insight into how to support young learners in a nurturing and engaging way. I believe language learning should be enjoyable, practical, and tailored to each student's pace and interests. I use a blend of conversation practice, visual aids, games, songs, and storytelling to keep lessons fun and memorable—especially for younger students. For adult beginners, I focus on building confidence through real-life vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple grammar, using role-play and everyday scenarios to make the language come alive. Lesson Format: Length: Typically 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the age and attention span of the student Mode: Lessons are available online or in person Who it's for: Children (primary and early secondary) Adult beginners looking for a supportive and motivating environment to start their Italian journey Whether you're a parent looking to introduce your child to a new language or an adult beginner starting from scratch, my lessons are warm, supportive, and tailored to your needs.
