About Federica

Hello, I'm Federica, and I'm delighted to connect with you! Hailing from the picturesque landscapes of Italy, I've embarked on an exciting journey that now finds me residing in the vibrant city of London. With a fervent passion for teaching, I've honed my skills as an enthusiastic and experienced Italian tutor, ready to embark on a captivating exploration of language and culture with you.

Beyond my linguistic endeavors, I recently attained the pinnacle of academic achievement by completing my PhD in Neuroscience. This enriching experience has not only equipped me with a deep understanding of the intricacies of the human brain but has also instilled in me the value of curiosity and continuous learning.

As we traverse the realms of language and culture together, I look forward to sharing my knowledge, fostering a collaborative learning environment, and making this journey an enriching and enjoyable one for us both.

About the lesson

Ciao!

I'm Federica, a dedicated and experienced Italian tutor with a rich academic background in the field of neuroscience. While I originally hail from Italy, I have been living in the UK since I was 15 years old.

During my academic journey, I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, where I cultivated a strong interest in languages and cultures. Eventually, my passion for neuroscience led me to pursue higher education in this field in London, where I successfully graduated.

Presently, I am in the final stages of my DPhil (Ph.D.) program in clinical neuroscience at the prestigious University of Oxford. My research focuses on gene therapy, a fascinating and cutting-edge area in the realm of medical science.

Alongside my academic pursuits, I have been actively engaged in tutoring Italian, my native language. My love for language and teaching led me to share my expertise in Italian grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills with learners from diverse backgrounds.

As your Italian tutor, I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment, tailoring my teaching style to suit individual needs and learning preferences.

Having previously tutored students, I understand the significance of patience, encouragement, and adaptability in nurturing language skills effectively.

I am thrilled about the prospect of assisting you in your journey to master the Italian language. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your language skills, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals.

Grazie mille for considering me as your Italian tutor. I look forward to embarking on this linguistic adventure with you and helping you unlock the beauty of Italian culture through its language.
