About Lorea

Hi! My name is Lorea, and I am a bilingual university student currently studying Business in Barcelona. I was born and raised in Mexico, making Spanish my native language, while I completed my entire education in English, allowing me to communicate fluently in both languages.

I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, where I achieved a 6/7 in Higher Level Spanish. Throughout my academic journey, I developed strong communication, writing, and analytical skills, as well as effective study techniques that I now enjoy sharing with others.

Having studied in an international environment and lived in different countries, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. I know that every student learns differently, which is why I adapt my lessons to each person's goals, pace, and interests.

My aim is to create a relaxed, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and building confidence in their Spanish. Whether you're learning for school, travel, work, or simply for fun, I'll help you develop practical language skills that you can use in everyday life.

About the lesson

I believe the best way to learn a language is by actually using it, not by memorizing endless grammar rules. My lessons are designed to help students feel confident speaking Spanish in real-life situations from day one.

Rather than focusing only on verb conjugations and traditional exercises, I create interactive lessons based on everyday conversations, adapting each class to your level and goals. We will practice situations you are likely to encounter in real life, such as ordering at a restaurant, traveling, making friends, shopping, or having casual conversations.

I also like to give engaging activities instead of typical homework. Depending on your level, you might watch a Spanish TV show or movie, read street advertisements or restaurant menus, listen to a podcast or song, or write about something that genuinely interests you. These activities help you naturally improve your vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence while making learning enjoyable.

Every lesson is personalized, whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for an exam, learning Spanish for work or travel, or simply looking to become more fluent. As a native Mexican Spanish speaker, a bilingual university student, and someone who completed IB Higher Level Spanish (6/7), I understand both the academic and practical sides of learning a language.
