About Anabel
I have been teaching Spanish and Catalan for over 10 years in the UK. Currently, my main focus is as a private tutor online, but I also run some lessons at a local adult learning center. In addition, I have valuable prior experience working at a university, a primary school and high schools teaching Spanish here in the UK.

Hola, I’m Anabel!
I am a Spanish native with Qualified Teacher Status. I am a friendly, fun and experienced Spanish teacher with a life long passion for languages and a fascination for other cultures. I have a great enthusiasm for helping my students gain the skills and confidence in speaking Spanish. I cover all aspects of language learning and focus on your individual needs to ensure you make excellent progress and achieve your desired level.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Spanish Language and Literature, a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language and a PGCE (QTS). This has given me a solid foundation with an advanced knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language. This experience has given me a unique skill set, allowing me to be fully equipped with the best teaching methods. This really helps my students build their confidence, accuracy and fluency from the very first lesson!
I can also prepare you for different targets, level A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 (Year 1, 2, 3 , 4, 5) (always following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), conversation, GCSE, A-Level and KS3/KS4 Spanish studies. This also includes DELE exams in which I am an official examiner, or for travelers and professionals alike.
Many of my students are able to have basic conversations after just 4 months. Starting with no skills or knowledge, they could understand others and to be understood which is the main goal for most people. The best thing about private tuition is that you learn a lot quicker than in a normal course. The focus is in you, your needs and personal targets. I am happy having a weekly or a fortnightly lesson, one to one or for couples or even small groups at no extra cost per hour.

30 pounds for 60 minutes lesson. The lesson will be sent to you by email 3-7 days before. After the lesson, I will send to you the notes taken in the lesson. I will be available 24/7 via WhatsApp to help you with any possible questions you may have during the week as well, at not extra cost.
