About Angie

Hi, I’m Angie! I’m a passionate and patient Spanish tutor with real classroom experience supporting students of all ages and levels. As a native Spanish speaker and proud Seal of Biliteracy holder, I bring both fluency and formal recognition of my language skills to every session. I currently work as a TK (Transitional Kindergarten) aide, where I support young learners in developing early Spanish vocabulary, comprehension, and communication skills. This role has strengthened my ability to teach Spanish in a clear, engaging, and age-appropriate way—especially for students who are just beginning to learn the language or need extra support. Whether you’re a beginner, heritage speaker, or currently taking Spanish in school, my lessons are personalized to your goals—grammar help, vocabulary building, conversation practice, reading comprehension, or cultural understanding. I work with elementary, middle school, high school, and early college students, and I make sure every session feels supportive, structured, and encouraging. About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on making learning engaging, personalized, and supportive. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to meet individual needs—whether that’s through visuals, hands-on practice, or step-by-step guidance. My approach is rooted in patience and encouragement, creating a space where students feel confident to ask questions and learn at their own pace.

Each lesson typically starts with a quick review, followed by a focused objective for the day. I explain concepts clearly, guide students through practice problems, and check for understanding before moving on. I always adjust the pace depending on how the student is doing, and I aim to build both skill and confidence in every session.

What sets me apart is my background working one-on-one as a TK (Transitional Kindergarten) aide, where I’ve supported students with different learning needs, language backgrounds, and attention spans. That experience taught me how to be flexible, attentive, and encouraging—skills that I carry into all my tutoring sessions. I’m also a native Spanish speaker and a Seal of Biliteracy holder, which allows me to support bilingual learners more effectively.

My tutoring is best for elementary through early college students, especially those needing help in English, Spanish, math fundamentals, reading comprehension, or general education support. I also work well with students who benefit from extra patience and clear, structured instruction—like English language learners or students receiving special education services.
