About Nuria

I have been learning foreign languages from a very young age, and I understand the importance they hold especially in today's society. Nevertheless, I am also aware that many times, language subjects are taught wrongly or in a manner that stops students from actually enjoying the lessons, and so one of my priorities is always to ensure the student has fun as a means to keep them motivated. I am a third-year English undergraduate at Trinity College for the 23-24 academic year, but I have always lived and studied in Barcelona. I have taught Spanish, English and Catalan to younger students for a few years now, and I truly enjoy it, as I believe teaching also allows the teacher to learn as well!

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Núria, I am a 20-year-old who is currently studying English in Dublin. I have been teaching for a few years now and I believe the main priority must be ensuring the student learns as much as possible while enjoying themselves. I am a Spanish and Catalan native speaker and my English level is a certified C2, so communication will not be an issue. I have always taught teenagers, especially from the ages 11 to 17, but I also enjoy teaching younger students! I specialize in Spanish Speaking and Grammar, with a special focus on learning new, useful vocabulary. The lessons can be either online or in-person, depending on the distance and preferences. Schedules can be discussed!

Núria is a great Spanish teacher! She worked with my 17-year-old daughter and she really enjoyed the classes. The classes were also only in Spanish and that really helped Sloane. I truly recommend Núria as a teacher!

Núria gave Spanish Speaking classes to my son (15 years old) for the last year and he was thrilled. He had never enoyed languages much but Núria's private tutoring motivated him and he managed to pass all of his Spanish tests. She also brought him worksheets based on his interests to learn new vocabulary, which he loved. I discovered her through a mutual friend whose daughter she has also taught, and I definitely recommend her as a teacher. Thanks Núria!
