About Alejandra

I have been teaching my friends Spanish for years and really enjoy it! I find it really rewarding to see how they progress and how they begin to get better and better at understanding and engaging in complex conversations, Netflix shows, and memes in Spanish, without needing to use a translator (or me). Teaching languages enforces my own approach to learning them as I continue to learn more languages myself.

About the lesson

I prefer to do online lessons during the summer holidays as I can appreciate that in person lessons during this time can feel school-like and therefore non-enjoyable for most students. The homework that I set is watching and listening to Spanish music and shows as I find it extremely important to immerse yourself in the culture of the respective language that you are learning (also, summer is meant to be fun, right?!)
