About Marta

I am a creative, responsible and caring person who really enjoys working with children. I have several years of experience working with children in different environments.

I looked after two girls aged 1 and 3 for two years, and I have been a dance teacher at a dance academy for three years. Since 2019, I have also worked as a summer camp leader, organising activities and looking after children. I have also volunteered in school dining halls and completed a First Aid course.

I am patient, organised and very creative, and I am good at keeping children engaged through fun activities, games and movement. I also have strong communication skills and always make sure children feel safe, comfortable and confident.

I believe my experience, energy and caring personality allow me to create a positive and enjoyable environment where children can learn and have fun.

About the lesson

I am a native Spanish speaker and a university student who loves working with children and helping them discover Spanish in a fun, natural and engaging way.

My lessons are mainly designed for children and beginners, and I use songs, games, stories, pictures and everyday situations to make Spanish enjoyable and memorable. My goal is not only for children to learn vocabulary and grammar, but also to encourage them to become more independent and confident in understanding and using Spanish.

I like to create a Spanish-first environment where children are encouraged to listen and respond in Spanish as much as possible. I believe that listening and understanding should come naturally, so I use simple, clear and age-appropriate Spanish and gradually introduce new vocabulary and expressions according to each child's level.

Lessons are organised according to the child's age and level, with different themes such as family, animals, colours, food, school, hobbies and everyday life. I adapt the activities to each child's interests and progress, so every lesson can feel different and motivating.

A typical lesson lasts around 45–60 minutes, although I am happy to adapt the duration depending on the child's age and needs.

I also believe that communication with parents is important. I can provide regular feedback about what we have worked on, the new vocabulary learnt and the child's progress, so parents can follow their child's development and support their learning at home.

My aim is to create a positive and relaxed environment where children can learn Spanish through play, curiosity and conversation rather than feeling that they are simply studying another subject.
