About Clara

Hello! I'm Clara, a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela currently living in the United States.

I enjoy helping others learn and believe that learning a new language should be practical, encouraging, and enjoyable. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable building confidence and improving their Spanish at their own pace.

I attended the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where I completed the academic coursework for a Bachelor's degree in Geography. I am also committed to continuous learning and am currently studying medical coding. Additionally, I am a member of the AAPC and have completed coursework in medical terminology, healthcare administration, professionalism in allied health, and customer service.

I have experience guiding people through structured learning, explaining concepts clearly, and adapting to different learning styles. Whether you're learning Spanish for travel, work, school, or personal growth, I'll be happy to support you with personalized lessons focused on real-life communication.

A typical lesson includes a short review of previous material, new vocabulary and useful everyday expressions, guided conversation, pronunciation and accent reduction practice, reading activities, and interactive exercises. I encourage students to participate, ask questions, and practice speaking in a relaxed and supportive environment.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and step by step. I enjoy helping people understand new concepts in a simple way and building their confidence as they progress. I believe that mistakes are a natural part of learning, and my goal is to make every student feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.
