About Elsa

My name is Elsa and I am from the vibrant city of Barcelona in Spain! I was born and raised there until I moved to Ireland for university, where I'm studying Biomedical Engineering (I know, such a nerd). I am currently in Montreal doing a university exchange, so I think it's safe to say I've moved quite a bit.

Growing up in Spain was such a beautiful experience and I am really passionate about my country and my language, so I would love to share that with other people!! Also, studying abroad and being mainly surrounded by English-speaking people, I know how different the phonetics and languages in general are and I noticed what people have most trouble with when learning Spanish.

I believe we can work together in an enjoyable while productive way to make you learn all the tricks and tips that will make you write, listen and sound like a native speaker (or at least someone that has been studying Spanish for a long time)!

About the lesson

¡Hola! My name is Elsa and I would love to help you achieve your language goals in the best and most effective way possible.

Whether you're preparing for your next trip to Spain or Latin America and would like to learn more of the slang so you don't sound like you're giving a lecture every time you speak while perfecting your pronunciation, or if you're a student having trouble with writing or listening and would need a little push in that regard, or you're just passionate about languages and have a special feeling about the beautiful language that Spanish is, I'm here to help you!

We can work on whatever it is that you want me to assist you with, be it with some written exercises, detailed explanation of phonetics, or just casual conversation if you just want to improve your day-to-day speaking. I can also recommend you very good Spanish shows and movies for you to practice your listening skills without even noticing!
