About Camila

I have been working as a tutor for 4 years and participated in various learning organizations such as Schoolhouse World, as a Reading and Writing tutor for the SAT, and All For Education—a personal community service project which brought tutoring services to children in a remote Panamanian community. Spanish is my first language. I have worked closely with the Spanish Department in my high school, achieving more than 70 hours of voluntary aid, which included correcting exams, helping students understand each topic better, and even did around 2 lessons on my own. I also work locally as a Spanish Tutor, bringing aid to students in my High School that need help with their Spanish class grades. I adjust to my customers needs, making each session a distinguished one by focusing on what my student needs the most. For example, for those who want to get a better grade in a Spanish class, I plan my session around what they are currently viewing there. That way, they get to understand, review and practice each concept and excel in class. On the other hand, for those who are looking to understand the language better at their own pace, I focus on them improving reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, challenging them to become a little better every single session by giving them more complex exercises with time, but making sure they completely manage each level before moving on.
Customizable 101 sessions are the best way to ensure you as a client are getting the best out of your time and resources, and that is what I offer.
