¡Hola! My name is Belén and I am a professional Spanish tutor with 5+ years of experience teaching children and teenagers in the UK, Spain and online. I am a native Spanish speaker and have exceptional written and verbal fluency.

I have a degree in English Studies with a focus on pedagogy. I am a Spanish teacher with a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their goals.

My teaching style is fun, interactive, and personalised. I use a variety of teaching techniques, including games, art, music and other engaging activities to make learning Spanish enjoyable. I prioritise personalised education, which allows me to customize the lessons to suit the student's needs and goals.

About the lesson

My online Spanish tutoring classes last for 60 minutes and are designed to be fun, interactive, and productive. During the lessons, I use a variety of formats such as games, art, music and other engaging activities to make learning Spanish enjoyable. I cover a range of topics including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation skills. I use a variety of teaching techniques to make the lessons engaging and effective. Here are some of the techniques I use:

- One-on-one teaching: I use a one-on-one method of teaching, which has many benefits, including personalised attention and customised lessons.
- I use task-based instruction to help students learn Spanish in a practical way.
- I prioritise true Spanish reading materials to help students improve their reading skills in a meaningful manner.
- I use technology to enhance learning, such as sharing learning resources with students using Google Docs, YouTube, etc.
- I aim to use the Direct Method of learning, which involves teaching entirely in Spanish, only using English when absolutely necessary in order to get the student used to interacting in Spanish.

My lessons are for students wanting some extra help with their Spanish at school as well as anyone who just wants to learn and is curious about Spanish language and culture!
