About Melisa Askin

Hello! My name is Nazlı and I am a native Turkish speaker currently studying at university in London. Living in an international environment has helped me meet people from many different cultures, and it made me realise how exciting it is to share my language with others.

I enjoy helping people learn Turkish and seeing their confidence grow as they start to understand and speak the language. I am patient, friendly, and supportive, and I always try to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel relaxed and motivated.

Teaching Turkish is something I genuinely enjoy because language is not only about grammar and vocabulary, but also about culture, communication, and connection. I love meeting new people and helping them discover the Turkish language and culture.

About the lesson

My lessons are friendly, supportive, and adapted to each student’s level and learning goals. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some knowledge of Turkish, I adjust the lessons to help you progress comfortably and confidently.

During our lessons we can focus on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, or everyday Turkish used in real life situations. I believe language learning should feel natural and engaging, so I like to include practical speaking exercises and interactive activities.

My aim is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. This helps build confidence and makes learning Turkish enjoyable and effective. Lessons can also be adapted depending on whether you want to learn Turkish for travel, culture, personal interest, or communication with friends and family.

My goal is not only to teach Turkish, but also to help students feel confident using the language in real conversations.
