About Tarith
I am a first-year student at Loughborough University, learning Natural Science (Msci) for a Mathematics and Bioscience pathway! I have been providing private tutoring to GCSE-level students in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry for three years now. I have had all my students achieve a score of 8 or above in each subject. The system for success is the same for every student, and it's my passion to help students understand and make it work for them!

My Approach to Tutoring I take a supportive, student-led approach to tutoring that focuses on building confidence, understanding, and long-term skills. I tailor each lesson to the individual learner’s pace and needs, using a variety of techniques including active recall, questioning, visual aids, and step-by-step breakdowns. I make sure each student feels comfortable asking questions and ensure they understand the “why” behind each concept—not just the “how.” Teaching Techniques & Methodology: -I begin by identifying the student's strengths, gaps, and preferred learning style. -Lessons often start with a brief recap or warm-up, followed by targeted teaching of new content, interactive problem-solving, and a short review. -I use real-life examples and analogies to make abstract topics more relatable. -Where appropriate, I incorporate diagrams, past paper questions, or mini quizzes to reinforce learning. Typical Lesson Length: Most lessons are around 50–60 minutes, with some flexibility depending on attention span and the topic. I always allow time at the end to review key takeaways and set a quick task or goal for next time. Qualifications & Experience: I am currently a university student studying Natural Sciences, with a strong academic background and experience both leading and participating in study groups. I’ve developed excellent communication skills through working with peers and younger students, and I understand how to explain complex topics clearly and patiently. Who My Lessons Are For: I tutor students from primary school up to GCSE level, and I’m especially confident in science and maths. Whether a student is struggling with fundamentals or aiming for top grades, I adapt to their level and help them progress confidently.
