About Yiding
Being a tutor, I gained some experience in high school while I was doing my volunteer hours. I am familiar with OSSD course materials and can help students with most of the science courses from grade 9-12. Besides, I have taken the AP Calculus BC exam in grade 12 and achieved 4 in the exam (out of 5), which was able to prove my professionalism in math courses.
I am taking Statistical Science and Actuarial Science majors at the University of Toronto in my thrid-year of study. Hence, I can also help students with their post-secondary planning and academic advising.
Besides, I can speak English and Mandarin.

- I will design the lessons based on the student's progress in study and understanding.
- The typical lesson plan will be summarized as 1. topics; 2. learning objectives; 3. tricky parts related to the tests; 4. Q&A
- I will teach students in accordance with their aptitude. I will fit the course materials to students' own pace of understanding in order to 'learning' instead of 'knowing'.
- The lessons are for high school students(from grade 9-12) who are planning to go to universities or colleges(especially for science majors)
