About Dhruvi

I am a student at New York University studying Neural Science on the pre-medical track, with a strong interest in neuroscience, medicine, and the way the brain influences human behavior and health. My academic journey has given me a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, neuroscience, and other sciences, while my experiences outside the classroom have allowed me to explore medicine from a real-world perspective.

Alongside my studies, I have gained hands-on exposure to healthcare through neurosurgery shadowing, clinical experiences, and volunteering in hospital settings. These experiences have strengthened my interest in medicine and taught me the importance of patience, communication, attention to detail, and compassion when working with others.

I also work as a private tutor, where I enjoy helping students become more confident in subjects they may initially find challenging. I take a highly personalized approach to tutoring because I understand that every student learns differently. I create individualized study plans, flashcards, practice exams, quizzes, review sheets, and targeted practice based on each student's needs. I repeatedly revisit difficult concepts and adjust my teaching methods until the student can explain and apply the material independently.

Outside of academics and tutoring, I am involved in leadership, campus activities, and content creation. I enjoy connecting with people, taking on new challenges, and finding creative ways to communicate information. As someone pursuing medicine, I am particularly passionate about making complex information easier to understand and helping others feel capable of learning it.

Ultimately, I am someone who is curious, hardworking, and deeply committed to growth. Whether I am studying neuroscience, preparing for medical school, tutoring a student, or working with my community, I try to approach everything with the same mindset: understand the material deeply, keep improving, and help the people around me succeed.

About the lesson

# Private Tutoring Lessons

I provide personalized one-on-one tutoring designed around each student’s individual learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement. Rather than simply helping students complete their homework, I focus on making sure they **truly understand and retain the material**.

For each student, I create customized study materials based on what they are currently learning, including **personalized practice exams, flashcards, review sheets, quizzes, and targeted exercises**. I regularly revisit difficult concepts and repeat material as needed until the student feels confident and can demonstrate mastery independently.

My lessons are flexible and student-centered. If a student struggles with a particular topic, I adjust the lesson, provide additional practice, and continue reviewing it until it becomes comfortable. I also use practice testing and repetition to help students prepare for upcoming exams and build long-term retention.

The goal of my tutoring is not just to help students get through one assignment or test, but to help them build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and develop the skills to succeed independently.
