About Alex

Hello! My name is Alex, and I’m an NYU graduate, licensed Registered Nurse, and current Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) student specializing in Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Before earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, providing me with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, genetics, biochemistry, and the sciences that underpin nursing practice.

I currently work as a Registered Nurse at one of New York City’s leading academic medical centers, where I care for patients with a wide variety of complex medical conditions. This allows me to bring real-world clinical experience into every lesson, helping students connect textbook concepts to actual patient care.

I know firsthand that nursing school can feel overwhelming, and I believe every student learns differently. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs. Whether you’re struggling with a single topic or preparing for a major exam or the NCLEX, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build confidence through understanding—not memorization.

My goal is simple: to create a judgment-free learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, thinking critically, and developing the knowledge and clinical reasoning skills needed to succeed in nursing school and beyond.

About the lesson

Whether you’re preparing for your next exam, struggling with difficult concepts, or getting ready for the NCLEX, my goal is to help you build confidence not just memorize information. As an NYU graduate and practicing Registered Nurse at a major academic medical center, I combine real-world clinical experience with evidence-based nursing education to make complex topics easier to understand.

My lessons are personalized to your learning style and can cover medical-surgical nursing, telemetry, pharmacology, pathophysiology, dosage calculations, clinical reasoning, care plans, prioritization, exam preparation, and NCLEX-style questions. Together, we’ll focus on understanding the “why” behind nursing concepts so you can think critically in both the classroom and the clinical setting.
