Methodology
In the past my method has been to create a lesson plan to review concepts that the student was struggling with, then review past and future assignments, such as essays and mock reading comprehension assignments. I like to meet on a weekly basis to ensure that the student is achieving the results they want and am flexible on finding a structure that works best for each student.
Background
I am an university student pursuing my undergraduate degree in cognitive science. I have prior tutoring experience working with students in the elementary level, as well as in high school on all humanities subjects. I am familiar with the Alberta curriculum and have tutored consistently for over 3 years.
