About Thomas

After a medical career that was destined to psychology, I progressively left the sciences for philosophy first, and then languages. What interested me in the end was the languages, vernacular as well as symbolic, and finding the best way to express and convey feelings, thoughts, ideas, arguments. That's why, very early on, I became interested in translation and in the design of teaching materials, and I deepened the connections between Romance languages, both current and past.

I have been teaching science, Italian and French for thirteen years, and I have been learning Portuguese for more than two years, so it will also be an opportunity for me to learn more about Brazil and share our cultures.

About the lesson

Hi, I have been teaching languages for several years and I am used to work online. I'm from Paris and I teach French from France to all levels:

— with beginners, we work on pronunciation, basic grammar and vocabulary
— with intermediate level students, we delve deeper into grammar, conjugation and idioms
— with the most advanced, we can take conversation classes, work on expressions, accents

At each level I propose activities to train the four skills: written comprehension, oral comprehension, written expression, oral expression. We will work with different types of documents: newspaper articles, novels, recipes, videos, documentaries, series… it is very easy to adapt and to learn while discovering French culture in the areas you like.

Pedagogical sources can also be multiple: manuals, apps, websites… no matter which tool you train with between sessions, we will prepare a coherent and personalized program to use them with maximum efficiency.
