About Francesca

I have been teaching Italian since 2014 to all kinds of public: children, teenagers, adults. All my students were able to achieve their goals: among them, the preparation of entrance exams (Collège Marseilleveyre Italian section, Società Dante Alighieri of Geneva), successful examination at the University (Bachelor in History of Art), ability to use Italian in professional contexts.

About the lesson

I prefer to start this description saying that a good dose of empathy and sympathy are the qualities my students appreciate most in my way of teaching! For my academic background please see my CV below.

After six years of teaching experience, I am convinced that a pleasant learning is the only way towards achievement. That is why I do everything I can to make my lesson enjoyable and therefore the student motivated to progress.
The path and method of learning are thus established together according to the learner's objectives, interests and learning style. After a first oral test, I often ask for feedback along the way in order to adjust my lessons according to what the student thinks to be more interesting or useful to him.
The lesson takes place via Skype or other videoconferencing software, which does not cause any technical issue. You just have to be equipped with a good internet connection. I usually share files via Dropbox, so that the student has all the texts available as well as drop off its homework, which can be corrected outside of the lesson hours.
