About Antony
Ciao! I’m a native Italian speaker originally from Puglia, in southern Italy, and now based in Sydney.
I am fluent in English, which allows me to clearly explain Italian to English-speaking students when needed.
I’m patient, approachable and passionate about helping people become more confident speaking Italian in a natural and practical way. I also enjoy sharing the culture, expressions and everyday language that you don’t always learn from textbooks.

I focus on practical, conversational Italian that you can actually use in real life. My lessons are relaxed, personalised and adapted to your level, whether you are a complete beginner or already have some knowledge of Italian.
We can work on speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and listening, with an emphasis on building your confidence in conversation rather than simply memorising rules.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are suitable for adults who want to learn Italian for travel, family, work, personal interest or simply to become more confident speaking the language.
As a native Italian speaker who is also fluent in English, I can clearly explain grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation in English when needed. I can also help you understand natural expressions and the way Italian is actually spoken in everyday situations.
