About Lea
I am a senior in high school with a 97% average who is very familiar with the Ontario curriculum. I will be attending the University of Toronto to study business in the fall. I am a peer tutor in school and I have 2 years of experience working with kids as a summer camp volunteer.

I believe that thoroughly understanding a concept is far better than memorization and I take into consideration how a child learns best and structure my lessons and teaching method to best suit them.
I specialize in teaching students who are struggling in their classes. In my lessons, I introduce the material and break it down into simple concepts through the use of examples and analogies. I then provide practice problems with increasing difficulty. Learning can be fun, and I like to use games to teach and make lessons engaging. I also share tips on how to take tests, how to study, and how to critically think through problems.
