About Diksha

I am a third year integrated masters Mathematics student at the University of Bath. At GCSE, I received a 9 in Mathematics and at A-level, I achieved 3 A*'s in Mathematics, Economics, and Graphic Design. I also received an A in A-level Further Mathematics. I have experience with the new style of GCSE and A-level content. I have previously worked in educational summer camp teaching lessons to a group of 16-17 year olds as well as teaching to a group of 12 - 16 year olds on a weekly basis. I believe that the most important part of tutoring is to make the lessons engaging and interesting as without an interest in the subject, students don't want to learn.

About the lesson

I believe that the best way to understand mathematics is by practising through a mix of exercise questions as well as past papers, which is what helped me to understand the concepts of mathematics rather than simply trying to memorise a technique without understanding it. The lessons will be held on teams. Lesson structure: 1. Finding out where your strengths and weaknesses are 2. Addressing the weaknesses through revisiting the concepts in a new way with a deeper understanding as well as consolidating this knowledge through practice questions 3. Go through past exam papers and strategies to approach tough exam questions
