About Sophia
I am currently a senior in high school, attending virtual school, graduating in May of this year, 2026. I have been taking piano lessons since I was seven and continue to participate as a young adult, with the aspiration to teach! I currently teach several students in-person local to where I live, and hope to expand my teaching virtually!

I work with the Faber line of piano books and am looking to teach beginner to intermediate-level kids around the toddler through middle school age range. Upon reaching out to me, I will provide you with my recommendations for the books I have selected for students to work out of, as well as review the scheduling. I am also willing to set up an online meet-and-greet with parents and the student to review my teaching plan and the books I work from, at no cost, before a commitment to lessons. This will allow you to get to know me and ensure you're comfortable working with me as a piano instructor. I am excited to share the gift of music with beginners and look forward to your consideration as a piano instructor!

I offer an hour for $40 and 1/2 an hour for $20. This is a discounted online rate compared to my in-person lessons as I do not need to travel for online.
