About Karen
Hey! I'm Karen, and singing has been my career for more than 30 years. You may have heard my voice without knowing it: on radio station IDs and jingles aired around the world, recorded with production houses like Reelworld and IQ Beats. I've also performed live on big stages for years.
Everything I've learned in the studio and on stage goes into my teaching. I've coached hundreds of singers at every level. Some now pursue singing as a career. Others now sing with real confidence and enjoyment, often for the first time in their lives.
No matter your starting point, I'll work with where you are today and help you grow from there.
I'm CPD certified through Vocal Process, having completed accredited professional training in assessing and diagnosing a singer's voice.

My students range from first-time singers to performers who gig, audition, or record, plus plenty of people who simply feel stuck and want to break through. Lessons are shaped around your voice and your goals.
Areas we'll cover:
- Range: unlocking higher notes and moving smoothly between chest voice and head voice
- Stamina: lasting through long sets and rehearsals without strain or hoarseness
- Core technique: pitch accuracy, agility, and a range you feel at home in
- Vocal health: warm-ups and recovery habits that protect your voice long term
- Audition coaching, when you need it: choosing your song and cut, then nailing it under pressure
What to expect:
Our first lesson is about understanding your voice. I'll listen, find what's getting in your way, and we'll set clear goals together. Every lesson after that uses the music you're working on and wraps up with targeted exercises to practise at home. I track your progress from lesson to lesson, so you always know what's getting better and what comes next.
