About Valentina

¡Hola! My name is Valentina and I am originally from Venezuela. I am a 17-year-old High School senior and College Sophomore. I have spoken Spanish my entire life and I am completely fluent in all aspects, aside from Spanish being my native language, I have also taken University level courses such as Advanced Placement Spanish Language and Advanced Placement Spanish Literature that have further on expanded my formal learning in it. I have previously tutored and worked with Elementary, Middle, and High School students to help them better their Spanish, and ultimately become fluent and I am so excited to hopefully expand my area! Aside from this, I am also an Orchestra pianist and play tennis. I hope we get to know each other!

About the lesson

I’ll provide an engaging & supportive environment for my students where they can ask whatever doubts they have. Starting from the basics and slowly moving to more advanced topics with patience. Lessons will be towards fluently learning and familiarizing yourself with the language, rather than a degree level class. Most Spanish lessons teach Spanish that is not often spoken regularly between fluent speakers, so I will also make sure that not only do my students know it fluently and correctly, but also learn how to speak it casually and like a true native speaker.
