About Letizia
I’m a multidisciplinary artist working between Canada and Italy, and am a native English speaker. My life has always been enriched with art, whether it was dance, performance, music or visual art. From self-taught roots in drawing, I moved on to arts theory courses at Emily Carr University (Canada) and later to study and teach fine art techniques in Florence, Italy. My studies included painting, drawing, sculpture, and engraving. Other hobbies of mine include learning new styles of dance, cooking and hiking.

Everyone has unique artistic ideas to express. My goal is to create a personalized plan for you that enhances your art technique without hindering your creativity!
After years teaching painting in Florence, Italy, I've moved on to hosting freelance lessons and workshops. My students have been of all ages and experience levels, so even if you are an absolute beginner, have no fear! I'm currently producing my own work centered on painting and performance art.
I am very open to meet your individual needs to help you reach your creative goals. I offer online lessons year-round; in person lessons depend on the time of year as I often work abroad. Your lesson topics could include:
-oil painting
-acrylic painting
-ancient egg tempera painting
-paint making and support preparation (ie canvas stretching)
-drawing (still life or portraiture)
